commercial matters.
Prior to
joining Lucas & Cavalier
LLC,
Mr. Ferruggia was a partner
with
Schnader Harrison
Segal
& Lewis, a major Center City
Philadelphia law firm.
He served as regional
litigation counsel and
handled various cases for a
Fortune 50 company.
He also represented a
major corporation in a
complex multi-state
environmental insurance
recovery action.
He has
represented a major insurer
in defense of bad
faith/coverage claims by
physicians claiming
disability under own
occupation policies.
Mr.
Ferruggia has defended major
self-insured companies in
numerous personal injury
actions.
He has worked with
world class medical and
financial expert witnesses.
Mr.
Ferruggia received his Juris
Doctorate degree with
Highest Honors from Rutgers
University School of Law in
1987.
He was an Articles
Editor for the Rutgers
School of Law – Camden Law
Journal, and he received
many honors for outstanding
academic achievement,
including the prestigious
Hornbook Award.
After
graduating law school, Mr.
Ferruggia was a law clerk
for The Honorable Joseph H.
Rodriguez in the United
States District Court for
the District of New Jersey.
Mr.
Ferruggia is admitted to
practice in state and
federal courts in
Pennsylvania
and
New Jersey,
and before the United States
Court of Appeals for the
Third Judicial Circuit.
