KEITH E. JOHNSTON is
a partner with LUCAS
AND CAVALIER, LLC.
He is experienced in
defending both insured and
self-insured clients in
liability claims and also in
the evaluation of coverage
for specialty and general
lines of insurance on behalf
of insurers. His practice
is currently devoted to
litigation of both liability
and coverage matters.
Mr. Johnston has
defended liability claims
involving a variety of
products (cranes, elevators,
industrial tools, consumer
products and marine
products), premises
liability, dram shop
liability, profession
negligence (architects,
insurance agents and
brokers, travel agents and
attorneys), securities
brokers, and infringement of
trademark and copyrights.
He also has experience in
analyzing insurance coverage
for jewelers block policies,
for advertising injury and
for insurance company errors
and omissions policies and
has defended coverage claims
in those areas in addition
to employee dishonesty and
fidelity claims. He has
presented seminars on
jewelers block coverage in
both the London and domestic
market.
Mr. Johnston
received his Juris Doctorate
from Dickinson School of Law
of Penn State University
where he was Articles Editor
of the Dickinson Law
Review. He received his
Bachelors of Arts degree
from the College of William
and Mary. He is admitted to
practice in all state and
federal courts in
Pennsylvania.
